Rock, Paper, ScissorsHagendorn, Switzerland

The architectural concept for Hagendorn reflects the diversity of the spatial program through a deliberate differentiation of its components. Our aim was to create a spatial structure that fosters lively and dynamic interaction between users, while at the same time establishing a dialogue between the new building volume and the existing architecture.

This results in three staggered buildings arranged along Lorzenweidstrasse, creating a sequence of outdoor spaces with clearly defined functions and identities. The precise distribution of the building volumes allows for a harmonious integration into the existing context and responds carefully to circulation axes as well as to the vertical development of the surrounding volumes.

Competition.
